Job Description
Telesales / Business Development Representative required. Our client are OEM specialists with resources dedicated to full stack IT infrastructure, high-performance computing, and embedded technology, our proven implementation and integration services have seen great success with leading enterprises.
They are now looking for a Telesales Representative to join their team based in Worthing. The successful candidate will be IT literate and will be reporting to the team leader.
Position Overview
- Proactively cold call and prospect new clients, booking meetings for external sales team to attend.
- Maintain new prospects lists to create a manageable monthly follow up call list.
- Maintain and develop a computerised customer and prospect database.
- Plan and assist with direct marketing activities for lead generation
- Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills both technically and commercially
- Continually maintain an effective understanding of the Embedded, industrial and medical IT Markets and broad business / economic landscape to enhance sales, effectiveness, this will be achieved by self-study and attendance of company led training.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual KPI’s / revenue targets
Position Requirements
- Self-starter with a drive and determination to build their career
- Experience in a similar role
- A highly competitive nature and charisma
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
- Demonstrable knowledge and expertise of the sales lifecycle and supporting processes
- The ability to self-motivate, push forward and succeed in a sometimes challenge business change environment
- IT Literate – with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Position Remuneration
- Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week
- Salary £27,000 – £31,000 DOE (+15,000 OTE)
