Paint Sprayer / Fabricator – Cowfold (West Sussex)
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am till 5.30pm
Holiday: 4 Weeks Paid Leave
We are delighted to be working with a family owned motor engineering company in the Cowfold area (West Sussex) who are actively seeking to recruit an experienced Bodyshop Technician with a versatile skill set – able to paint / fabricate and experience with panel beating.
My client are a Classic Car specialist and have are proud to have a long history for repairing classic cars and providing high quality classic and vintage car repairs and restorations.
Working with a friendly team, you will need to be ready for a challenge to exceed customer expectations and deliver your best. Attention to detail is crucial.
What this role involves:
- Painting any repaired vehicles
- Experience with fabrication and Panel Beating
- Checking correct paint colour and use of spray out card for all colours
- Setting the oven temperature, air pressure and time
- Applying the appropriate fillers and stoppers
- Paint preparation and mixing
- Roller and paint spray priming
- Completing quality control
- Ordering paint for parts when needed
The skills you will need:
- Being able to work well in a team
- High level of attention to detail
- Previous experience as a Painter / Fabricator
- Use to working to deadlines, and producing quality workmanship
- To have a valid UK driving licence
